Hawaii Five-0 Cast & Producers showed their support for the local community by participating in Kokua for the Philippines.

Starting tomorrow at 10am…. Kokua for the Philippines T-Shirts will be on sale at Aloha Sub.. 1602 Kalakaua Ave. Call 739-2009 for more info. Cost is $10 per shirt and proceeds will be donated to the “Kokua for the Philippines” effort. Only cash or checks will be accepted as payment. “Kokua for the Philippines” T-shirts available for sale
Organizers for last Sunday’s “Kokua for the Philippines” benefit concert announced today that the T-shirts created for the event will be sold at the Town Center of Mililani’s “Center Gazebo” from Dec. 18 to 22, between 10 a.m. and 8 p.m., while supplies last. Cost is $10 per shirt and proceeds (above the vendor’s cost) will be donated to the “Kokua for the Philippines” effort. Only cash or checks will be accepted as payment. For those on the neighbor islands, mainland, or elsewhere, call 808-387-0706 to see if your request can be accommodated.

Severe weather has cancelled the TV portion of Kokua for the Philippines.
The event will continue as a radio and online broadcast. Phone banks will continue and are live now. Call 955-9900 on Oahu and 1-855-905-6582 for neighbor islands and nationwide to donate. Phones will be live until 6 p.m. Hawaii time. Ticket holders are encouraged to make their ticket purchase a donation. However, refunds will be provided for those who request.
Kokua for the Philippines Tee Shirts
Kokua for the Philippines Tee Shirts will be availble at the concert for $15.00. The shirt has the benefit logo on the front and a Thank you very much in Filipino along with the date, the benefit and the location in Honolulu, Hawaii.
Wyland will be painting live on stage
Renowned marine life artist Wyland will be painting a giant original canvas featuring humpback whales, live on stage throughout the five-hour event. The painting will be auctioned off with 100 percent of the proceeds going to Kokua for the Philippines.

INFORMATION FOR TICKET HOLDERS & ATTENDEES
“Kokua for the Philippines” doors will open to the public at 11am on Sunday, Dec. 15th.
Show time is 12pm (sharp).
All seats are general admission. Chairs will be provided. No over-sized umbrellas.
No outside food and beverages, chairs or coolers will be allowed. Food booths with bentos/snacks/beverages for purchase will be available on site.
No video recording of Artists.
Tickets will be sold at the door on a space available basis.
T-shirts with the Kokua for the Philippines event logo will be available for sale during the event.
MIDWEEK – Kokua Team Comes Together Again
The same group that put on Kokua for Katrina (2005), Kokua for the Pacific (2009) and Kokua for Japan back in 2011 after the earthquake and tsunami hit the East Asian country, have joined forces once again, but this time to raise funds for those affected by Typhoon Haiyan, which struck the Philippines in early November.

Rainbow Warrior spirit to support Philippines relief efforts
This afternoon, Governor Abercrombie called on the people of Hawaii to show their Rainbow Warrior spirit in support of Philippines relief efforts. Every ticket sold for the UH vs. Army home game on Nov. 30 will be matched by a $5 donation to the “Filipino Community Center – Aloha for Philippines” fund, with a maximum donation of $20,000.
